gorszy starsze panie
irytuje cenzorów I teoretyków poezji
niepostrzeżenie zapuszcza korzenie
już wmieszał sie w tłumy wypisów
zanim ktoś krzyknął że to koniec świata

wiersz zamiast być klamrą
co spina granice wyjaśnień i świeci objawieniem
sam jest teraz jednym jeszcze przedmiotem
który wymaga inwentaryzacji i klasyfikacji
prosi się o zrozumienie wsparcie i współczucie

This poem was to have authoritatively summed up
completed and rounded off
to have placed a full stop
after the world and the world of poetry
but meanwhile it eludes me
in its own words
it represents someone distraught
signals a melting star
flaunts its metaphor
scandalises old ladies
irritates the censors and theoreticians of poetry
imperceptibly strikes root
is already hiding in a host of anthologies
before someone shouts: this is the end of the world

instead of being a buckle
that clasps the limits of elucidation and shines with revelation
the poem is now itself just another object
that requires cataloguing and classifying
that asks for understanding support and commiseration
