Education » What we do › Scottish Poetry Library visits

We would be delighted if you and your class would like to visit the Scottish Poetry Library.

We can arrange a short tour, a talk about the library and about poetry, a 'browse and show' session, and a mini-writing workshop. Please contact us - we are happy to customise sessions to your requirements.

The Library is perfectly situated in close distance to the Scottish Parliament, Our Dynamic Earth, the Scottish Storytelling Centre, and many other Edinburgh attractions, so a visit to the Library could be slotted into a longer day of visits! We are also happy to arrange tours for other groups, such as trainee teachers, school librarians, or anyone interested in seeing the Library and learning about the resources we can offer.

Please note that the Library is a fully accessible building, but is a relatively small premises, and that toilet facilities are limited.
