Acrostic poems with Christian McEwen. P4 and P5 pupils from Newcraighall Primary School took postcards of paintings in the National Gallery as their starting point and imagined what life might be like on the other side of the frame.

Some of the Newcraighall poets tried their hand at writing a 'lune', which is a 3-line poem with 3 words in the first line, 5 words in the second and 3 words in the third.
