 Education » Teaching resources › Poet/Makar/Bard

Hundreds of children and young people have worked with Scottish poets as part of the SPL's programme, and Poet/Makar/Bard was published to share a selection of poems by the young people who took part in some of the SPL's workshops. This rich collaboration demonstrates that poets are very much alive and flourishing in Scotland, writing about things that touch everyone's lives.

Use the links on the right to sample some of the workshops, read poems written by the young people, and find ideas for use in class.
