P4 pupils from Victoria Primary had great fun finding out about the history of the alphabet with Christian McEwen. Then, inspired by the shapes of the letters, they wrote acrostic poems using their own names as the 'spine' words.

E is like a swing that's half forgotten
C is like a rainbow hidden away in the dark world
C is a thin moon in the sky
A is like half a witch's hat
