Education » What we do › Scottish Poetry Library visits

We would be delighted if you and your class would like to visit the Scottish Poetry Library.

The Library is situated near to the Scottish Parliament, Our Dynamic Earth, the Scottish Storytelling Centre, the People's Story, Holyrood Palace and many other Edinburgh attractions, and a visit to the Library is a perfect complement to other visits.

We can arrange a short tour, a 'browse and show' session, or a mini-writing workshop as part of your day and we're happy to tailor these to a specific theme. Please contact us to arrange class visits.

We are also happy to welcome other groups, such as trainee teachers, school librarians, or anyone interested in seeing the Library and learning about the resources we offer.

Please note that the Library is a fully accessible building, but is a relatively small premises, and that toilet facilities are limited.
